So, it’ a brand new school year (2022-2023). Students will be starting school soon. Backpacks, composition notebooks and other school supplies are on the list to be purchased.
The question on every parent and teacher’s mind is how long will, in person, school last this school year? Last year the Delta variant has already wreaked havoc on our students, teachers and parents. Now, it’s July 2022 and we’re dealing with BA5.

Last year some schools were already virtual and our poor children and college students are faced with this horrible virus, all while trying to learn.
Now, people, in general, have given up wearing masks, social distancing and even testing. It’s not looking good for this school year. I believe students will have put their masks back on.
They are working on a new vaccine to combat the BA5 variant.
I for one am glad that it’s that this vaccine will soon be available and hopefully it will persuade more people to take it and get their children vaccinated.
Yes, you do have a choice whether or not to get one of the vaccine. If you haven’t, I hope you will. Keep yourselves and our students safe.
I just wanted to mainly encourage people and talk about how we make it through these scary, chaotic, challenging times.
There is still good in the world and ways to cope with our new normal. We have to take care of our health and well-being.
Here are few ways to navigate through these challenging times:
Prayer & reading the Bible– As a person of faith, prayer is a way to talk to God and share all of our fears, needs and our mental and emotional exhaustion.
Take a walk during the day. Enjoy nature
Listen to music that will encourage, inspire and soothe your soul
Covid-19 and its variants have taken us on journey that none us could have ever imagined.
People have been isolated from family and friends, dealt with childcare and school issues, relationship issues and the loss of dear friends and family members during this pandemic.
Remember that you’re still here for a purpose and this too shall pass.
Remember to take one day at a time. Stay hopeful.
If we work together, we can get on the other side of the pandemic sooner than later. Smell the roses. Pray and continue to be thankful for all of the good in your life.
